I finally saw Pete's Meteor...odd lil movie...makes me want to speak with an Irish accent now.
felt bad for Hugh through most of the movie! Especially when he's talking about his parents, or even moreso when he finally wants to tell the girl he's in love with her and she cuts him off each time.

That girl needs to take a hike. Poor Hugh. So adorable.

I was in love with a guy who was in Hugh's situation. He is tall, dark & handsome-like our Freddy. Ahhh, if I could run my finger's through his hair one more time. Yeah he was head over for another girl. He was a total "geek" but everyone liked him becase of his personality, wit and make you at ease. She knew this and took advantage of it too! Well, knowing this, I decided to be a "friend". He went all out. We did the teeth job, hair, eye contact's, hoot we went to the gym! I made my move after she rejected him. Well, it was too late & I was reassinged from Hong Kong back to Boston.

So no Hugh for me *pouts*.

Hope you got to rent it eventually. I haven't watched it in so long but I'm craving it now. Not really the movie as a whole, but just the Hugh parts. And the kids' accents are cute.
